The Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in Trieste, Italy, seeks a part-time nurse (50%) to provide first-line medical care for staff and visitors at the Miramare campus, supporting emergency response and routine health services.

The successful candidate will work under the Head of Unit with UNESCO Medical Services collaboration, bringing clinical skills, confidentiality, and a patient-centered approach to on-site health care.

Competenze

Secondary, technical or vocational school as a nurse with registration and a valid nursing license.
Experience providing first-aid and on-site health care is preferred.
Ability to liaise with medical consultants and staff while maintaining confidentiality.

Mansioni

Provide first aid care to visitors and staff at ICTP Miramare Campus and assess needs.
Offer disease guidance and refer to ICTP Medical consultant when needed.
Assist with administration of prescribed medications and self-care guidance.
Organise entry medical examinations for new staff and periodic staff health checks.
Coordinate health campaigns and liaise with authorities as required.
