Job summary

PDS Health is hiring a Dental Assistant to support clinicians through the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE) and build a Patient for Life (PFL). You will prepare patients, assist dentists, sterilize instruments, take radiographs, and maintain operatory readiness across multiple offices.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and state-mandated certifications. Travel between offices may be required; a valid driver’s license and auto insurance are preferred.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to high school diploma or GED and state-mandated training for certification/licensure.
• Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: As mandated by the state.
• Specialty Dental Assistants must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance; background and MVR checks may be required.
• Travel to multiple offices per day may be required, sometimes several times daily.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties per state allowed dental auxiliaries table.
• Assist clinicians to deliver the Perfect Patient Experience (PPE).
• Escort patients and coordinate with front/back office teams.
• Maintain clean, sterile operatory and sterilize instruments.
• Prepare patients for treatment and assist dentist during procedures.
• Take radiographs and intra-oral pictures as directed.
• Maintain inventory and support daily huddles and team meetings.
• Uphold company policies and regulatory requirements.
