Axess Family Services, Inc. is seeking a Dental Assistant to support the delivery of quality dental care by preparing and organizing instruments, patients, and materials.

You will work under the Director of Advanced Dentistry to assist during procedures, manage operatories, and ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations. The role includes patient education and charting in electronic records.

Competenze

• Completion of a Dental Assistant program or equivalent experience.
• X-ray certification in Ohio with ability to perform digital radiography.
• CPR certification is required.

Mansioni

• Assist the Doctor on dental procedures as a trained team member.
• Seat patients in the chair promptly and educate them on procedures.
• Reinforce oral hygiene instructions with patients.
• Stock operatories and keep rooms stocked.
• Chart procedures and document discussions in electronic records.
• Run daily equipment start-up and shut-down.
• Maintain OSHA standards and overall cleanliness.
• Autoclave cleaning and sterilization spore testing.
• Clean water lines and test lines; clean traps in operatories.
• Drain and maintain compressor and vacuum equipment.
