Sidel is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee Mantova and Verona plant activities, driving operational excellence across people, processes and performance. You will report to the VP Operations Italy within the Production Center Italy Organization and lead cross-functional teams in a complex, international environment.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety and quality, deploying Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, and collaborating with Sourcing, Engineering, and Planning to improve efficiency

Competenze

• Minimum 8–10 years in manufacturing.
• Experience in an international manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership in complex industrial settings.
• Strong background in Lean/Six Sigma and quality improvement.

As Operations Manager, you will act as the conductor of a complex industrial ecosystem, connecting people, processes, and performance to drive operational excellence across our Verona plant. Your leadership will help create a safe, efficient, and continuously improving manufacturing environment where quality and innovation move together.

Your Mission

Reporting to the VP Operations Italy within the Production Center Italy Organization, you will oversee Facility & Environment, Logistics & Material Handling, Assembly & Test, and Manufacturing activities - for Mantova and Verona plants. Working in an international and cross-functional environment, you will play a key role in strengthening plant performance, developing capabilities, and supporting Sidel’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainable growth.Your Missions

• Lead the operations of Mantova plant, ensuring high standards in production performance, quality, and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with HSE policies, regulations, and applicable legal requirements across all operational activities.
• Implement and monitor quality control and traceability programs to achieve operational and customer quality objectives.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives, promoting continuous improvement across processes and teams.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Procurement, Engineering, and Planning teams to support cost reduction and operational efficiency targets.
• Lead change management initiatives while fostering collaboration, capability development, and effective communication across functions.
