Cummins Inc. in Cameri/Novara, Italy, seeks a motivated Supplier Quality Engineer Intern for a 6‑month on‑site internship. You’ll learn supplier quality management, inspections, and cross‑functional collaboration across Quality, Production, Logistics, and Purchasing.

Ideal candidates are engineering students or recent grads, fluent in Italian with strong English, and familiar with quality tools and problem‑solving methods. This role offers hands‑on manufacturing experience on the shop floor.

Competenze

Pursuing or recently graduated with a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
Fluent Italian and good English communication skills for a global environment.
Basic understanding of quality management systems and problem‑solving methods.

Mansioni

Assist in developing an incoming inspection strategy and inspection plans.
Support supplier quality management and containment activities on non‑conforming materials.
Assist with SCARs, corrective actions, and follow‑up on effectiveness.
Analyze incoming inspection and supplier data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with production, logistics, and purchasing on quality issues.
Support audits and verification of supplier process controls.
