Job summary

Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. is hiring a Datacenter Technician to support customers and AMD teams in a data center environment. You will troubleshoot hardware, assist with new rack deployments, and contribute to knowledge‑base documentation.

The role requires strong server hardware knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously with a dispersed team. Flexible hours may be needed to meet delivery requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/EE or related field.
• Relevant certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support in a data center environment.
• Support break-fix activities for new rack deployments and incident management for sustaining operations.
• Perform customer-directed data center activities, including replacing or configuring network devices and servers, power cycling equipment, patch management, and cabling.
• Participate in root-cause and failure analysis activities as directed by the customer engineering team.
• Provide logistical support for asset management and data center floor-plan audits.
