Job summary

AbbVie seeking an experienced Clinical Research Associate to advance our pipeline by ensuring compliant, high-quality site conduct in clinical trials across immunology, oncology and neuroscience. You will partner with study teams, investigators and site staff to drive data integrity and patient safety while maintaining strong site relationships.

This role focuses on monitoring activities, training site staff on protocol adherence, and coordinating risk assessments with global teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year clinically related experience, including at least 6 months in clinical research monitoring.
• Knowledge of risk-based monitoring approaches and both onsite and offsite monitoring.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration, planning, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Primary Sponsor point of contact for investigative sites and provide contextual information on trials.
• Align, train and motivate site staff and principal investigators on trial goals and patient treatment principles.
• Conduct site evaluation, training, monitoring, and closure activities per protocol and GCPs.
• Monitor site risk signals in collaboration with Central Monitoring to drive study execution and safety.
• Identify, evaluate and recruit prospective investigators/sites to support planned studies.
• Ensure timely, accurate data submission and reporting of safety events.
