Entrix is seeking an Onboarding Operations Manager based in Italy to lead the technical onboarding and integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) into our trading platform.

You will own end-to-end onboarding, coordinate cross-functional integrations, and ensure regulatory compliance with Italian grid rules and market participation. Strong technical and communication skills are essential for success in a fast-paced energy tech environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Automation or related field.
• 3+ years (5+ for Senior) of experience in technical project management, energy systems, or BESS/RES integration.
• Proven experience with API integrations and real-time asset control systems.
• Strong relationship-building skills with customers & partners/regulatory organizations.
• Fluent in Italian, with full business proficiency in English.

Responsabilités

• Own the full technical onboarding process for BESS assets, from planning to go-live.
• Coordinate end-to-end integrations, ensuring assets connect to Entrix's platform.
• Define, design, and implement communication flows between BESS controllers, EMS, SCADA, and Entrix systems.
• Ensure regulatory and market participation compliance in Italy, engaging with grid operators/regulators.
• Support registrations, pre-qualifications, certifications, licenses, and acceptance tests for market participation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data flows, telemetry, and trading execution.
• Translate complex requirements into clear implementation plans aligned with Business and Product teams.

To drive a smart and sustainable energy future, we are looking for a proactive and experienced Onboarding Operations Manager based in Italy. In this role, you will work on the technical onboarding and integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) into our trading platform - ensuring seamless connectivity, regulatory compliance, and optimal asset performance.

Your Responsibilities

• Own the full technical onboarding process for BESS assets, from initial planning to go-live.
• Drive and coordinate end-to-end integrations, ensuring that every new asset in Italy is seamlessly connected to Entrix's trading and control platform.
• Define, design, and implement communication flows between BESS controllers, EMS, SCADA and Entrix systems.
• Ensure technical compliance with grid regulations and market participation rules in Italy, coordinating closely with regulatory bodies and the grid operators.
• Support our customers and our own required registrations, pre-qualifications, certifications, licenses, acceptance tests necessary for the assets' participation in envisioned energy markets both on the trade as well as on the technical delivery side.
• Collaborate directly with cross-functional teams, from software engineers to data scientists, to optimize data flows, telemetry, and real-time trading execution.
• Translate complex project requirements into clear implementation plans, aligning timelines with our Business and Product teams.

Mandatory Requirements

• A degree or equivalent in Engineering, Energy Systems, Automation or a related field.
• 3+ years (5+ for Senior) of experience in technical project management, energy systems, or BESS/RES integration.
• Proven experience with API integrations and real-time asset control systems.
• Strong relationship-building skills with customers & partners/regulatory organizations. (DSO, TSO, EPC)
• Proactive, creative and solution oriented with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, able to bring clarity to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluent in Italian, with full business proficiency in English.
