Hitachi Grid Automation in Rome leads service and commissioning of HV protection and SCADA/RTU systems at client sites, ensuring on-time completion and customer acceptance. You will coordinate with site managers and third parties, implement design changes, and produce as-built documents during FAT and SAT.

You will travel up to 80% to client sites, perform on-site troubleshooting, and contribute to safety, reporting, and lessons learned while communicating in Italian and English.

Qualifications

• Experience in P&C site commissioning of substations.
• Experience with test devices (Omicron, Isa).
• Proven experience on Hitachi Microscada and RTU560.
• Knowledge of PLC automation commissioning.
• Knowledge of IEC104/101 and 61850 protocols.
• Knowledge of Networking and network devices.
• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Willingness to travel ~80% to client sites.
• Fluency in Italian and English.

Responsabilités

• Perform service and commissioning activities for HV protection and SCADA/RTU systems at client sites.
• Adhere to commissioning schedule and ensure handover with client sign-off.
• Troubleshoot on-site issues and provide feedback for lessons learned.
• Implement design changes and produce as-built mark-ups.
• Coordinate with site manager and third-party providers on specific projects.
• Produce progress reports and obtain client approval.
• Conduct Safety Observation Tours and mitigate hazards.
• Handle snag lists independently and resolve issues.
• Engage in technical discussions with customers during commissioning.
• Attend FAT and SAT as required.
