Job summary

Bonatti is seeking a Project HSE Inspector for our pipeline project in Italy to strengthen the HSE team and support the Project HSE Manager in ensuring compliance with HSE standards across site operations.

The role requires daily presence on site, with responsibilities including on-site inspections, PPE oversight, and verification of procedures such as Work at Height, Confined Spaces, Lifting, Lockout-Tagout, and Emergency Action Plans.

Qualifications

• Consolidated experience as HSE/Safety Inspector in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Internationally recognized HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, BSC, or equivalent).
• Engineering background preferred.
• Fluent English and Italian.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site HSE inspections, identifying hazards and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure proper use, limitations and maintenance of all required PPE.
• Verify compliance with HSE procedures: Work at Height, Confined Spaces, Lifting, Lockout-Tagout, Emergency Action Plans, Safe Work Permits, Incident Reporting and Hazard Identification.
• Provide follow-up on corrective actions and support continuous improvement activities.
• Communicate effectively with teams and contractors to promote a strong safety culture.
