Leica Microsystems is seeking a Finance Manager, Shared Service Accounting (d/f/m) on-site in Buccinasco, Milan, Italy, to oversee the accounting framework for Italy, Spain and Portugal and to lead the local accounting team. You will ensure Italian GAAP compliance, manage postings, VAT, and close cycles, reconcile to US GAAP, and act as a business partner to local leaders by delivering timely reports and insights. Fluency in English is required; German is a plus.

Competenze

• Minimum 8 years of finance experience with strong focus on tax/finance and Italian GAAP knowledge.
• US GAAP knowledge preferred.
• Progressive accounting/controllership experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong analytical skills and process improvement capability.
• Fluency in English required; German is a plus.

Mansioni

• Ensure compliance of ledgers in Italy, Spain, and Portugal with local regs and Leica policies.
• Post transactions, release payments, manage VAT, and lead the local accounting team.
• Lead Italian close: review trial balances, expenses, journal entries, reconciliations, disclosures.
• Ensure SOX and finance controls; reconcile to US GAAP reporting.
• Provide reports and analysis as a business partner to local leaders.
