Job summary

A&O IT Group in Rome seeks an On-Site AV Support Technician to oversee, maintain, and troubleshoot corporate office audio-visual systems, serving as the primary technical contact for hybrid meeting rooms, events, and day-to-day collaboration technology.

You will ensure seamless audio, video, and presentation experiences for employees, provide real-time support during critical meetings, and keep the AV infrastructure running smoothly across the office environment.

Qualifications

• Solid experience operating major enterprise video conferencing platforms and room systems.
• Familiarity with hybrid meeting room workflows and UC setup.
• Hands-on experience with room control systems, touch panels, and signal routing.
• Knowledge of DSPs, audio systems, and wireless presentation equipment.
• Experience with displays, projectors, and digital signage in corporate spaces.
• Understanding of basic networking concepts as applied to AV hardware.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on pre-meeting checks and live technical support for meetings and events.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and cabling issues quickly to minimize downtime.
• Perform routine sweeps of meeting rooms to verify equipment performance and cleanliness.
• Configure and manage AV systems, display feeds, and wireless screen-sharing.
• Track AV assets, log service requests, and coordinate with vendors and IT teams.
• Help employees with meeting room technology and create simple user guides.
