Valore Recruiting is seeking an Ocean Export Operations Supervisor to join our international logistics client’s U.S. office. The role targets professionals with 5–10 years in ocean export operations who can supervise an operations team and coordinate cross-functional activities.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on export experience in freight forwarding or NVOCC, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent communication in English. Willingness to relocate to the United States is required.

Ocean Export Operations Supervisor - US Relocation Opportunity

An international company operating in the freight forwarding and international logistics industry is looking for an experienced Ocean Export Operations Supervisor to join its U.S. office and operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and is interested and available to relocate to the United States and work from the company’s U.S. office.

The ideal candidate will have 5–10 years of experience in ocean export operations, preferably within a freight forwarding company or NVOCC, and will have progressed from a hands‑on operational role into a position involving team coordination and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day ocean export operations.
• Ensure shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time, in line with company procedures and customer requirements.
• Oversee the preparation and management of export documentation.
• Identify and resolve operational issues throughout the shipping process.
• Monitor activities to ensure a consistently high level of customer service.
• Lead, support, and develop the operations team.
• Work closely with customers, vendors, ocean carriers, agents, and internal teams.
• Provide hands‑on support in complex or critical situations and step in directly when needed.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve processes and service quality.
