Competenze

• 5-10 anni di esperienza nelle esportazioni oceaniche in ambito freight forwarding/logistics internazionali.
• Esperienza in una realtà di freight forwarding o NVOCC.
• Conoscenza pratica dei processi di esportazione e della documentazione correlata.
• Progressione di carriera da ruolo operativo a supervisione/leadership.
• Esperienza nel coordinare, guidare o supervisionare un team operativo.
• Capacità di risoluzione tempestiva di problemi operativi e presa di decisioni.
• Ottime capacità organizzative e attenzione ai dettagli.
• Orientamento al cliente e al servizio.
• Ottima padronanza dell'inglese scritto e parlato.
• Disponibilità a trasferirsi negli Stati Uniti.

Ocean Export Operations Supervisor - US Relocation Opportunity

An international company operating in the freight forwarding and international logistics industry is looking for an experienced Ocean Export Operations Supervisor to join its U.S. office and operations team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional who is looking to take the next step in their career and is interested and available to relocate to the United States and work from the company's U.S. office.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in ocean export operations, preferably within a freight forwarding company or NVOCC, and will have progressed from a hands-on operational role into a position involving team coordination and supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise day-to-day ocean export operations.
• Ensure shipments are handled accurately, efficiently, and on time, in line with company procedures and customer requirements.
• Oversee the preparation and management of export documentation.
• Identify and resolve operational issues throughout the shipping process.
• Monitor activities to ensure a consistently high level of customer service.
• Lead, support, and develop the operations team.
• Work closely with customers, vendors, ocean carriers, agents, and internal teams.
• Provide hands-on support in complex or critical situations and step in directly when needed.
• Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend solutions to improve processes and service quality.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in ocean export operations within the freight forwarding / international logistics industry.
• Experience with a freight forwarding company or NVOCC.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of ocean export processes and related documentation.
• Career progression from an operational role into a position with team leadership or supervisory responsibilities.
• Previous experience coordinating, leading, or supervising an operations team.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot operational issues and make timely decisions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Customer- and service-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness and availability to relocate to the United States.

We are looking for a hands-on ocean export professional with strong operational expertise and experience developed directly in the freight forwarding industry.
