World Food Programme (WFP) invites applications for a CST Nurse to support the 2026/2027 seasonal Influenza Vaccination Campaign at HQ in Rome during November 2026. The role requires a valid nursing license and at least five years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities include administering vaccines per clinical protocols, monitoring recipients for adverse reactions, and offering education on prevention and immunization benefits. Fluency in English and Italian is preferred.

Qualifications

BACKGROUND AND PURPOSE OF THE ASSIGNMENT:

As every year, with the arrivai of the winter season, the Medicai Service organize and promotes the seasonal Influenza Vaccination Campaign aimed at protecting staff against influenza. The CST Nurse will provide support to and work closely with the medicai team in the implementation of the 2026/2027 seasonal Influenza Vaccination Campaign in HQ throughout November 2026.

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. 1. Administer influenza vaccines in accordance with clinica! protocols_.
2. 1. Monitor vaccine recipients for adverse reactions following immunization and provide education and counseling on influenza prevention and vaccination benefit.

DELIVERABLES AT THE END OF THE CONTRACT:

1. 100% Correct vaccine administration and post-vaccination monitoring of employees receiving the vaccine.

2. 100% compliance with post-vaccination monitoring of employees receiving tl e vaccine and related counseling.

QUAUFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Education: Active and valid Professional Nursing License/Nursing D1 gree obtained through University program

Experience: Five years of experience in clinica! nursing care;

Knowledge Excellent team player skills & Skills:

Languages: Working knowledge (level C) of English and Italian (desiderab le)
