Vertiv seeks an NPDI Project Manager to lead end-to-end product development projects from concept to launch. You will coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, quality, logistics, marketing and sales to meet scope, schedule and cost targets.

The role requires strong leadership, PMP/PM tool proficiency, and a willingness to travel up to 20% across Europe and other regions.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of Project/Program Management in a structured org.
• Experience with NPDI processes and product development lifecycle.

NPDI Project Manager Products and Solutions - Engineering Manager

In this role you will lead end-to-end NPDI-driven product development projects from inception to launch, coordinating global and regional initiatives within the Thermal Management business. You will guide cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing and more to meet scope, schedule and cost targets. You’ll operate in a complex, international environment, driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with Vertiv’s strategic priorities. This is an opportunity to shape scalable, customer-focused solutions in a global company.

• Lead end-to-end project management for new product development and engineered-to-order customizations
• Ensure adherence to the Corporate NPDI Process and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resources and risks
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, quality, logistics, marketing, sales and leadership
• Monitor project progress, budget utilization and KPIs; report to stakeholders and senior management
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues affecting timelines, scope or quality; implement recovery actions
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and a culture of teamwork to meet aggressive deadlines
• Collaborate with Product Management to define requirements and with Engineering to validate solutions within target cost
• Conduct post-launch analysis and feedback collection to drive iterative improvements
• Provide resource planning input and align project objectives with company strategic priorities
• Navigate complex international relationships and communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation and efficiency in the product development process
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master degree preferred)
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project/Program Manager in a structured organization
• Understanding of the product development lifecycle from concept to commercialization
• Good project management skills; PMP certification strongly preferred
• Proficiency in MS Project and Smartsheet
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at all levels
• Excellent leadership and cross-functional team facilitation
• Problem-solving and proactive, solution-oriented mindset
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (mainly Europe) and occasional in other regions
• Experience in HVAC sector is preferred
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus
