Job summary

Rosewood Rome is seeking a Night Manager to ensure smooth night operations of the front office and bell staff, delivering a seamless luxury guest experience.

You will lead the night team, manage late arrivals and special requests, coordinate with concierge, housekeeping, F&B, spa and valet, and oversee night-audit procedures while maintaining records and supporting sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years supervisory experience in rooms operations.
• Fluent in English and Italian (spoken and written).
• Bachelor’s degree in hotel management or business (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead the night front office team for efficient overnight operations.
• Train, coach and develop night staff.
• Coordinate late arrivals, early departures and special guest requests after close.
• Coordinate with concierge, housekeeping, F&B, spa and valet for seamless guest experiences.
• Monitor reservations, financial reports and night-audit procedures.
• Oversee billing and credit limits.
• Maintain accurate guest records in the PMS.
• Track KPIs and propose continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with procedures, safety regulations and quality standards.
• Work with security to ensure night-time guest and staff safety.
• Keep front/ back-office areas clean, organized and secure.
• Support sustainability initiatives and environmental best practices.
• Participate in recruitment, selection and performance development of guest services associates.
• Monitor punctuality, appearance and grooming standards of associates.
• Contribute to upselling goals with revenue and sales teams.

Key responsibilities

• supervise and lead the night front office team, ensuring efficient overnight operations
• train, coach and develop night staff
• manage late arrivals, early departures and special guest requests after housekeeping and room service close
• coordinate with concierge, housekeeping, food & beverage, spa and valet to guarantee a seamless guest experience
• monitor reservations, financial reports and night‑audit procedures; oversee billing and credit limits
• maintain accurate guest records in the property management system
• track kpis and propose continuous‑improvement initiatives
• ensure compliance with internal procedures, safety regulations and quality standards
• work closely with security to guarantee guest and employee safety throughout the night
• keep front office and back‑office areas clean, organized and secure
