Job summary

Fastweb + Vodafone seeks a Network Data Engineer for the Observability & Analytics team. You will design and maintain high‑performance data pipelines, manage real-time processing, and collaborate with data scientists and stakeholders to implement data solutions in a hybrid Milan setting.

You will contribute to advanced BI tools, document data architectures, and promote best practices across the DNA network engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills.
• Experience with Databricks and Spark (PySpark/Scala).
• CI/CD for data projects (git, pipeline, dbt).
• Experience building dashboards with Databricks AI/BI, Tableau, Grafana or equivalents.
• Cloud data services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Delta Lake and Lakehouse architectures knowledge.
• Good problem solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high-performance data pipelines (ETL/ELT).
• Manage batch and near-real-time jobs for data processing.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Product Owners and stakeholders to translate requirements into data solutions.
• Automate workflows and pipelines, monitor performance and reliability.
• Develop advanced BI tools and dashboards.
• Document data architectures, processes and best practices.

In Fastweb+Vodafone stiamo cercando un Network Data Engineer per il Team Observability & Analytics della divisione Technology Digital Network and Artificial Intelligence (Technology DNA). Il tuo obiettivo è contribuire all’evoluzione dell’ecosistema di strumenti di Network Monitoring e Analytics necessari a garantire l’erogazione dei servizi di rete Fiexd & Mobile. In un ambiente dinamico puoi metterti alla prova e incrementare le tue competenze in ambito dati engineering con focus su dominio di rete collaborare con un team di esperti appassionati del settore e contribuire direttamente a realizzare la strategia di Observability aziendale.

DESCRIZIONE DEL RUOLO

In qualita’ di Network Data Engineer le tue attivita’ e responsabilita’ saranno le seguenti:

• Progettare, sviluppare e manutenere data pipeline ETL/ELT ad alta performance
• Gestire e ottimizzare job batch e near-real-time per l'elaborazione dati
• Collaborare con Data Scientists, Product Owner e Stakeholder per tradurre requisiti in soluzioni dati concrete
• Automatizzare workflow e pipeline, monitorandone le performance e l'affidabilità
• Sviluppare strumenti di advanced BI
• Documentare architetture dati, processi e best practice

I principali interlocutori saranno: Colleghi interni del team DNA Gruppi di Ingegneria Rete e relative Operation di dominio Business unit clienti, cross segmento Marketing IT department

REQUISTI ESSENZIALI

• Laurea in Ingegneria Informatica o discipline affini
• Ottima conoscenza di SQL e data modelling
• Esperienza di sviluppo con Databricks e Spark (PySpark o Scala)
• Conoscenza di CI/CD per progetti dati (git, pipeline, dbt)
• Esperienza nello sviluppo di dashboard con Databricks AI/BI, Tableau, Grafana o strumenti equivalenti
• Competenze su servizi gestiti per i dati in cloud (Azure, AWS o GCP)
• Conoscenza di Delta Lake e Lakehouse Architectures
• Buone capacità di problem solving e lavoro in team

Retribuzione a partire da 37.000 euro annui lordi + PdR. The final financial offer may exceed the indicated value and will be determined based on demonstrated skills, the level of autonomy, and the actual scope of responsibility assumed in the role.
