Serco is seeking a Project Manager to lead the PORTS program for Navy simulation and training systems in Middletown, Rhode Island. You will coordinate between the Program Manager, customer, and project team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and DoD-compliant data items.

The role requires a US citizenship with the ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and at least five years of management experience including profit and loss.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, applied science, or management.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience including profit and loss.
• Familiar with software development projects.
• Solid experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project).
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsabilités

• Oversee and manage day-to-day operational aspects of ongoing projects and liaise between Program Manager, Customer, and project team.
• Review status of projects and budgets; review work products; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
• Prepare data items in accordance with DoD requirements.
• Adhere to quality objectives, technical metrics, and schedules.
• Attend meetings and brief Serco management and Navy customers on project status.
• Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals.
• Participate in proposal activities for new projects.
