Reboot Monkey in Naples, Italy seeks an experienced Data Center Technician for freelance, on-site work supporting mission-critical infrastructure in Naples. The role offers an hourly freelance engagement with rates of €20-€28 per hour, with premium for after-hours work.

Key responsibilities include hardware installations, structured cabling, and server rack operations. Candidates should have 2+ years in data centers, strong cabling skills, and English communication abilities.

Competenze

• 2+ years data center or IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong cabling skills (Cat5e/6/6a, single-mode/multi-mode fiber).
• Experience with server hardware (Dell, HP, Supermicro).
• Professional communication skills in English.
• Own transportation and ability to work on-site.

Mansioni

• Perform hardware installations, decommissions, and migrations.
• Execute structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Conduct server racking, stacking, and labeling.
• Perform cross-connects and patch panel work.
• Troubleshoot connectivity and hardware issues.
• Document all work with photos and detailed notes.
• Coordinate with remote NOC and client teams.
