Tyvak International, based in Torino, Italy, is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join a collaborative team developing nanosatellite vehicle solutions. You will handle software development through all lifecycle stages, reporting to the Software Area Manager, in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities include contributing to requirements, design, implementation, testing, integration, and documentation, as well as interfacing with hardware and system engineers to optimize

Competenze

• BSCS/EE/CPE or equivalent degree required; MS CS/EE preferred.
• 2+ years in coding: C, C++, Python, Bash.
• 2+ years’ embedded development experience.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks: pytest, unittest, google test.
• Low-level programming on I2C/SPI.
• Unix-based OS and multithreading knowledge.
• Knowledge of JSON, REST, API, HTTP; basic SQL.

• Work in a small team with hardware and system engineers to develop optimal solutions.
• Build, test, and integrate embedded software in a low-power environment.
• Contribute to requirements, design, implementation and testing discussions.
• Integrate software with hardware test platforms and existing/new codebases.
• Maintain and enhance software for stability and features.
• Participate in vehicle architecture and design discussions for current and future projects.
