Thales Group in Pavia, Lombardy, Italy, seeks a Software Real Time & Embedded Engineer to design, implement and test scalable embedded solutions for aerospace and telecom devices.
You will work in a DevOps/Agile environment, balancing hardware interactions with high-level functionality, and contribute to robust, secure software across embedded OSs such as Linux and VxWorks. Collaboration across cross-functional teams and international assignments is encouraged.
Competenze
- Experience in embedded software development for RTOS and real-time platforms.
- Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded devices and hardware interaction.
- Experience with agile development and cross-functional teams.
Mansioni
- Design, implement and test features with a focus on scalability and performance.
- Apply coding best practices and produce reusable code.
- Follow security best practices for web applications.
- Collaborate with developers and UX to verify user experience concepts.
- Participate in Agile processes and create user stories and tasks.
- Archive source code in version control and manage deployments in test/integration environments.
