Mit Media Lab in Italy is seeking a Nanofabrication Process Engineer to support state-of-the-art superconducting circuits and quantum-related processes. The role focuses on developing and improving base processes for assets in a 200mm wafer facility, including deposition, epitaxy, and related steps.

You will coordinate with operations, maintenance and process integration, drive SPC, and work to enhance process capability, lot quality and efficiency.

Competenze

  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics or related field.
  • 2+ years of nanofabrication or microfabrication experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of physical vapor deposition, epitaxy, ALD, CVD, CMP, ion implantation, lithography, RIE, and related processes is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Mansioni

  • Be a key focal point coordinating with operations, maintenance and process integration teams.
  • Maintain and improve process capability, lot quality and operations efficiency.
  • Define and implement statistical process control and respond to shifts and instrument issues.
  • Coordinate with process integration owners and develop new unit process steps as needed.
  • Create and maintain required process procedures and documentation, work with maintenance to improve equipment performance.
