Job summary

Walks & Devour seeks a part-time Ground Operations Coordinator in Milan to support daily tour operations around the Duomo and Last Supper. You will work with freelance guides, local partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth tours and accurate reports.

The role blends on-site coordination with remote administrative tasks, with a 30-hour week and occasional Sundays/evenings. The position is a temporary, one-year contract under CCNL Turismo, starting in November 2026.

Qualifications

• Based in Milan with easy access to the city center.
• Fluent in English and Italian.
• Experience in tourism, tour operations, hospitality, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Tour coordination: collect tickets, check in guests, support guides, resolve issues, complete reports.
• Daily operations: coordinate departures, monitor needs, ensure procedures are followed.
• Administrative support: update systems, maintain records, complete reports.
• Financial tasks: handle cash, track tickets, reconcile transactions, record expenses.
• Materials: manage procurement and distribution of operational items.
• Guide/partner coordination: support local guides and suppliers, resolve issues.
• Quality control: identify improvements for delivery and itineraries.
• Compliance & escalation: monitor procedures and flag issues to manager.
