GE Vernova invites applications for a Finance Internship Program in Italy. The role focuses on hands-on experience within a dynamic finance team and supports strategic initiatives across FP&A, statutory/tax, project finance, controllership, and supply chain finance.

You will work cross-functionally to maintain standard financial frameworks, participate in technical training, and engage with senior leaders to grow professionally in a global setting.

Competenze

• Eligible: Italian work permit is required.
• Candidate profile: soon-to-graduate or recent MSc/Master’s graduate.
• Education: Major in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
• Experience: Multinational environment valued.
• International experience: exchange programs a plus.
• Language: Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Technical: Proficient with Excel and financial tools.
• Work flexibility: Primarily office-based.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

You will actively contribute to the main financial planning, analysis and reporting cycles of key business KPIs (income statement, balance sheet and operational metrics), with a strong focus on process improvement and continuous learning. You will be part of multiple initiatives to help you grow your personal and professional knowledge, such as technical training/knowledge sharing sessions and roundtables with senior leaders from the business.

Role

According to the core scope of your role, you will work cross-functionally with finance, commercial operations, supply chain and engineering to ensure standard frameworks are in place and to drive accountability. We currently offer internship experiences in the below functional areas:

• Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
• Statutory & Tax
• Project/Operational Finance
• Controllership
• Global Supply Chain and Sourcing Finance

Qualifications/ Requirements

• Eligibility: Italian work permit is required
• Candidate Profile: ready to graduate or very recent graduate from an MSc or Master's degree
• Education: Major in Accounting or Finance is considered a plus
• Experience: Previous experience in a multinational environment is highly valued
• International experience: participation to exchange programs will be considered a plus
• Language Skills: Fluent in spoken and written English
• Technical Skills: Proficient in Excel and other financial tools
• Work Flexibility: Primarily office-based

Employment Dates

• Internship duration: minimum 6 months, potential extension up to 12 months (evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
• Full time work preferred: 40 hours/week, with some flexibility related to study/exam commitments
