Job summary

AVIAREPS seeks a MICE Manager to develop and promote the destination within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Events sector in Lombardy. You will build relationships with corporate clients, incentive houses, event agencies, PCOs, TMCs, and DMCs to generate qualified business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MICE, business travel, events, hospitality, DMCs or destination marketing.
• Strong network with agencies, planners and industry professionals in the local market.
• Excellent sales, networking, presentation and communication skills.
• Fluent English and local language; willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the destination's MICE action plan in the local market.
• Identify, qualify and generate leads and business opportunities for meetings and events.
• Build relationships with MICE agencies, corporate planners and DMCs.
• Present and promote the destination’s MICE offering to clients.
• Coordinate sales calls, client meetings, trade shows and familiarization trips.
• Maintain CRM records, pipelines and activity reporting.
• Monitor market trends and competitive destinations for opportunities.
