STMicroelectronics in Italy is seeking a motivated Process Engineer in the Metal Deposition module to support Engineering and Manufacturing, focusing on micro- and nano-fab processes for metal thin-film deposition (PVD, CVD, electroplating).

You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize recipes, monitor process performance with SPC and FDC, start up equipment, and develop work instructions within the FEM-AG300 organization.

Competenze

  • Master's degree in materials science, physics, chemistry, engineering or related fields.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of English (written and spoken).
  • Motivation to work in a dynamic environment with different teams and external suppliers.
  • Basic understanding of semiconductor physics and microfabrication processes.

Mansioni

  • Ensure robustness and manufacturability of processes with recipe optimization and process window tasks.
  • Sustain manufacturing process and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Monitor process performance and yield with SPC, defect analysis and FDC.
  • Startup new equipment and perform process qualification.
  • Prepare and optimize operative procedure and work instruction.
  • Troubleshoot excursions and drive root-cause analysis (8D) to restore process stability.
