Job summary

Linde AMT Italy S.r.l. is seeking a Mechatronic Maintenance Technician (m/f/d) for the Novara site. You will perform routine and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems, and support automated lines to ensure peak performance.

The role requires 5+ years in a similar environment; English communication is valued. The package includes a gross annual salary of €29,000–€33,000 and €10 meal vouchers per workday, with CNEL Metalmeccanico terms.

Qualifications

• Mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering degree or diploma.
• 5+ years in a similar industrial/manufacturing role.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics.
• Experience with PLCs and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with Machinery and PED Directives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.

What You Will Enjoy Doing

• In this role, you will handle routine and emergency maintenance activities on industrial equipment and machinery
• You will oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Moreover, you will support the maintenance automated systems and production lines to ensure optimal performance
• You manage equipment monitoring to ensure efficiency, reliability, and compliance with safety standard
• You carry out predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance activities
• You prepare and update technical and maintenance documentation
• You will be hired under the metalworking national collective agreement, with a gross annual salary between €29,000 and €33,000, and meal vouchers worth €10 for each working day

What Makes You Great

• You have a technical diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or similar), with 5+ years of experience in a similar role within structured industrial/manufacturing environments
• You can interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics accurately, and you use diagnostic and measurement tools confidently
• You have hands-on experience with PLC programming and industrial automation, and you know the Machinery Directive and PED Directive 2014/68/EU
• Moreover, you are available to work shifts and You possess a strong safety-oriented mindset
• You embrace continuous improvement and innovation, you collaborate effectively across teams, and you communicate confidently in English
• You are familiar with MaintainX or similar CMMS tools, and you have contributed to Root Cause Analysis activities
• Also, you show strong problem-solving skills, and you are willing to join the First Aid and Fire Safety response team
