Sécheron Hasler Group in Pioltello, Milan, Italy, seeks a Mechanical R&D Engineer with a Master’s in mechanical engineering and strong FE validation experience. You will design and validate electrical and mechanical systems for railway and energy applications, performing finite element analyses to ensure safety and reliability.

You will work with top CAD tools and collaborate across disciplines to meet international railway standards. Fluent English is required; French is a plus.

Competenze

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering with FE validation experience.
• Minimum 5 years industrial experience.
• Electrical AC/DC Medium / High voltage knowledge is a plus.
• Railway rolling stock industry and international standards knowledge is a plus.
• English fluent; French beneficial but not required.

Mansioni

• Design and construction of mechanical/electrical systems and project-based solutions.
• Perform finite element analyses (tension/stress, fatigue, hardware analysis, welding, aging frequency/vibration) to aid and optimize design and validation of new products.
• Provide technology innovations and high product reliability.
• Keep design database updated to trace and produce correct apparatuses.
• Maintain a high level of technology in mechanical and electrical products.
• Validate all mechanical and electrical design of the dedicated group.
