Alstom in Savigliano, Italy is seeking a motivated Mechanical Method Engineer to define and validate manufacturing processes for new products. You will prepare industrial documentation, set master data and method times, and drive improvements as products scale in serial production.

The role requires technical education and experience with ERP (SAP), QA/EHS knowledge, and time analysis methods. You will collaborate across design, process, and production teams to ensure QCD targets are met.

Competenze

Manufacturing experience, preferably in railway industry.
Technical education in electrical/mechanical/welding.
Experience with SAP or ERP systems for BOMs and routings.
Familiar with Quality, EHS standards and ergonomics.
Time analysis methods MTM/MEK/UAS.

Mansioni

Define and validate the detailed manufacturing process for a new product.
Prepare industrial documentation, define master data and set manufacturing method time.
In serial phase, drive continuous improvement actions and industrialize product and process changes.
During specification and preliminary design phases, guide product definition to improve manufacturability and support design reviews.
During detailed design: participate in P-FMEA, validate prototypes, and write tooling specifications; develop ERP routings and work instructions.
After serial Go: industrialize retrofits, support production to meet QCD targets, and participate in continuous improvement workshops.
