Tenova is seeking a Mechanical Hydraulic Engineer to join the Pomini Team in Castellanza. You will design hydraulic components for machine tools, manage BOMs, and coordinate with engineers to ensure robust, safe systems.

The role involves occasional site visits in Italy and abroad. You should have a technical mechanical diploma or engineering degree with machine design focus, strong CAD skills (Inventor, AutoCAD) and familiarity with PLM and SAP.

Competenze

• Technical mechanical high school diploma or higher in engineering.
• Fluent in reading electrical diagrams and PLC code.
• Familiar with PLM concepts and SAP is welcome.

Mansioni

• Basic and detailed design of hydraulic parts for machine tools and auxiliaries.
• Manage BOM for hydraulic parts in response to customer requests.
• Design infrastructures for machine installation (e.g., piping).
• Prepare calculation reports for hydraulic design.
• Review hydraulic designs with structural and safety engineers.
• Interface with external firms and hydraulic suppliers for finalization.
• Assess quotations and coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, Production.

Job description:

Mechanical hydraulic engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer willing to join our Pomini Team, with a strong passion for technology and motivation to work in a multicultural and international environment characterized by high technological complexity.

Key Responsibilities

• Basic and detailed design of the hydraulic part of our machine tools and auxiliary machines
• Autonomous management of the bill of materials of hydraulic part to be designed upon request of customers
• Basic and detailed design of infrastructures for machines installation (typically: piping)
• Calculation reports on hydraulic design
• Review of the design of the hydraulic part of the machines, with the Structural Engineers and the Safety Engineers
• Interface with external engineering firms for detailed design and with hydraulic suppliers for finalization of the projects
• Review of the work produced by external engineering firms
• Assessments for quotations
• Work with other corporate departments, in particular Planning, Purchasing and Production to improve the efficiency of the hydraulic parts of the projects
• Technical communication with customers
• Occasionally, visits to erection sites in Italy and abroad to verify progress and for troubleshooting activities.

For the position, the starting gross annual salary will be from € 40.000, with the final offer determined based on the candidate's seniority, experience, and skills, as well as the outcome of the selection process.
