Tenova is seeking an Automation Development Engineer to join the Pomini Team in Castellanza. You will drive electrical cabling, start-up, and commissioning on a multinational team, delivering robust automation solutions and hands-on training to customers.

The role requires English fluency, a technical high school diploma, and strong knowledge of Siemens PLC/CNC, electrical drawings and hydraulic schematics. Castellation site work and international collaboration are expected.

Competenze

• Ability to read electrical drawings and hydraulic schematics.
• Fluency in English; good communication skills.
• Strong background in electrical, automation and machine commissioning.

Mansioni

• Supervise electrical cabling of sub-assemblies and perform I/O checks; support start-up tests.
• Execute start-up activities in the workshop and assist in site commissioning.
• Train customer operators on operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of automation systems.
• Test the machine in plant and complete the testing book as required by Engineering.
• Perform start-up and commissioning at customer site to achieve Final Acceptance of the plant.
• Provide after-sales support and on-site service to resolve issues.

Job description

We are looking for an Automation Development Engineer willing to join our Pomini Team, with a strong passion for technology and motivation to work in a multicultural and international environment characterized by high technological complexity.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and/or Execute Electrical Cabling of sub-assemblies and/or complete machine and I/O checks of machine in plant and at site;
• Has knowledge in the field of Electrical and Electronics equipment and drawings;
• Has knowledge in the field of hydraulic parts;
• Execute start up activities in the workshop, and follows internal commissioning;
• Test machine in plant and ensure completion of testing book as foreseen by Engineering department;
• Execute Start-up and complete commissioning at customer site to prove the contractual parameters to achieve Final Acceptance of plant by Customer;
• Train Customer operators and maintenance team on operation and electrical/ automation maintenance and troubleshooting;
• Supervise Electrical Cabling, I/O checks and Performs machine testing from the point of view of start-up and commissioning to ensure contractual performance is achieved at customer site.
• Provides training on the use and electrical/automation maintenance and troubleshooting of the machine itself to the end user.
• Provides after-sales assistance to customers in resolving any issues that may arise and carries out service activities at the end customer's premises.

For the position, the starting gross annual salary will be from € 30.000, with the final offer determined based on the candidate's seniority, experience, and skills, as well as the outcome of the selection process.
