Cavotec in Milan, Lombardy, Italy is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Connectors Team. You will develop innovative, sustainable product solutions from concept to production and manage active catalog lines, collaborating with production and service teams.

You will prepare drawings and BOMs, refine concepts with CAD models and prototypes, and support design validation through simulations. The role requires 5+ years in product development, a mechanical engineering degree, and fluency in

Competenze

Master's or bachelor's in mechanical engineering.
At least 5 years in product development and design engineering.
Experience with 3D CAD and FEM analysis.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes (injection molding, machining, casting).

Mansioni

Prepare technical drawings and BOMs for production.
Develop concepts with CAD models and prototypes.
Improve designs across the product lifecycle.
Collaborate with other engineering teams to finalize specs.
Support feasibility studies and validation through tests.
Ensure designs meet performance, cost, sustainability and regulatory requirements.
Assist internal production teams and suppliers.
Stay updated on materials and manufacturing trends.
