Job summary

A5 S.r.l. builds marine surface and underwater robotics for ocean biodiversity monitoring. We design whole systems in-house and test them at sea, in our marine robotics lab in Bari area.

The role sits in the marine robotics team, focusing on structural design and manufacturing of autonomous robots. We value hands-on hardware experience and willingness to adapt to a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or similar quantitative field.
• Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent).
• Comfortable with structural or fluid-dynamics simulation tools.
• Experience designing enclosures for sensors and electronics that need to stay sealed underwater.

Responsibilities

• Report to CTO and collaborate with Electronics, Optics, and Industrial Design teams on decision-making and integration.
• Cad Design, Integration & Simulation: design sealed enclosures and subsystems in CAD; integrate subsystems and define tolerances; run structural/CFD simulations.
