Job summary

IC Resources is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop mechanical systems for space applications, taking designs from initial concept through to manufacture, integration and qualification, and working with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust, space-grade hardware.

The ideal candidate has proven space industry experience, is proficient with CAD tools (Creo, NX, SolidWorks) and analysis packages (ANSYS), and applies GD&T and DFMA principles to produce precise

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer within the space industry.
• Experience designing mechanical components and assemblies for space or other high-reliability applications.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design, materials, manufacturing processes and Design for Manufacture.
• Experience producing detailed engineering drawings, with a good understanding of GD&T and precision tolerancing.
