Gts Group Ltd a Romano di Lombardia, Italia, cerca un Mechanical Design & R&D Engineer per guidare lo sviluppo di macchine automatiche nel packaging. Sarai lead ingegnere meccanico dal concept a prototipazione, test e validazione, collaborando con team in Italia, Spagna e Cina.

Richieste competenze avanzate in SolidWorks, AutoCAD e gestione end-to-end di progetti meccanici, con autonomia e capacità di documentazione tecnica. Ruolo stabile in sede.

Competenze

• Laurea o equivalente in Ingegneria Meccanica o Meccatronica.
• Esperienza nella progettazione di macchine automatiche.
• Ottima padronanza di SolidWorks e AutoCAD; Creo Parametric preferito.
• Conoscenza dei processi di produzione: lavorazioni meccaniche, piegatura e assemblaggio.

Mansioni

• Guidare lo sviluppo meccanico end-to-end dalla concezione alla produzione.
• Creare modelli 3D e disegni esecutivi in SolidWorks; interfacciarsi con team di automazione.
• Collaborare con fornitori e produttori durante assemblaggio e commissioning.
• Condurre test di campo, raccogliere dati e risolvere anomalie.
• Redigere documentazione tecnica di progetto e validazione.

If you've spent your career designing machines that handle, sort, and pack things at scale, and you're ready to lead that work rather than just contribute to it, this is worth a proper look.

Our client engineers automated machinery for the fruit and vegetable industry across Europe, the kind of equipment that quietly keeps produce moving from field to shelf. You'd join as a lead mechanical engineer on new product development, taking a project from a blank sheet through design, prototyping, testing and validation, working alongside engineering and automation teams based in Italy, Spain and China.

This isn't a role where you hand off a drawing and move on. You own the mechanical side end to end: 3D models and manufacturing drawings in SolidWorks, joint debugging with the automation team once hardware meets software, and field testing where you're the one pulling data and solving problems when something doesn't behave as designed. You'll also work directly with manufacturers and suppliers to sort out the inevitable issues that surface during assembly and commissioning, and write up the technical documentation that keeps everyone else honest.

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar
• Experience designing automated, non-standard machinery — box handling, filling, weighing, palletising, case packing or similar packaging-line processes
• Strong SolidWorks skills; AutoCAD needed, PTC Creo Parametric a bonus
• Solid grasp of manufacturing xysqume processes: machining, sheet metal, welding, assembly
• A methodical approach and the confidence to lead a project rather than wait to be told what's next
• Comfort working independently across an international team, including occasional travel for testing and commissioning
• Fluent Italian or Spanish

You'd be one of the more senior technical voices on new product development, with real ownership from concept to production, in a specialist automation niche most engineers never get exposed to.
