Job summary

UMGC Europe in Sigonella, Italy seeks adjunct faculty to teach on-site in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in MBA or related field and have professional experience in at least one concentration area such as Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, HR, Finance, Global Business, Marketing, or Project Management.

Experience teaching adult learners in online or higher education settings is strongly preferred, and applicants must reside locally to

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field aligned with one or more concentration areas listed above from an accredited institution of higher learning.
• Professional experience in one or more of the listed concentration areas.
• Experience teaching adult learners in online and/or higher education environments strongly preferred.
• Applicants must reside locally.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage students through frequent interaction that motivates them to succeed, and conveys a genuine energy and enthusiasm for their learning.
• Guide students in active collaboration and the application of their learning in problem‑ and project‑based learning demonstrations.
• Provide rich and regular constructive feedback, utilizing rubrics effectively for the assessment of student work, and acknowledging student accomplishments.
• Demonstrate relevant and current subject‑matter expertise, and help students connect concepts across their academic program.
• Provide feedback to your program chair on possible curricular improvements.
