You will support the development of the planning and fulfillment-related processes, skills, and tools. Supports performance improvement, including customer on-time delivery and lead time, ensuring adherence to inventory targets and supply plan optimization. Work model: #LI-Hybrid In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for: Executing daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and managing production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules. Monitoring schedule adherence, identifying key root causes for deviation, and taking follow-up improvement action. Supporting Planning & Fulfillment team in aligning material availability to production targets being responsible for stock profile and segmenting the portfolio of materials through an ABC/XYZ analysis, product lifecycle management, defining inventory policies according to this segmentation Collaborating with Buyers for obtaining the best possible supplier performance in terms of supplier on-time delivery, MOQ, quality, lead time, and flexibility. Supporting organization in reaching inventory targets and ensuring adequate replenishment of inventory through purchase orders. Managing MRP exception messages on a daily basis; supporting cycle counting and/or year-end inventory counting.
Degree in Management Engineering or Mechanical Engineering; At least 3 years of relevant experience in comparable positions and organizations. Previous experience in the automotive or home appliances (white goods) industry is highly preferred. Knowledge of SAP; Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (in particular on Microsoft Excel) and data analysis tools (Power BI or similar are considered a plus); Ownership, problem solving attitude and proactive approach; Teamwork attitude, good communication skills and courage complete the profile. You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
