Job summary

Leonardo S.p.A. is seeking a Master Thesist in the Structure Department based at Cascina Costa (Varese) or Brindisi, with an internship stipend of €800 per month.

You will coordinate and deliver structural research on helicopter structures, collaborating with Design, Analysis, Certification & Qualification, and Manufacturing teams to prepare a university thesis report. The role requires a university-level knowledge of engineering structures, familiarity with conventional and numerical analysis

Qualifications

• Master's degree ongoing in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis methods.
• Experience with fatigue and damage tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, create and deliver studies on helicopter structures with Design/Analysis/Certification & Qualification/Manufacturing teams.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering departments and stakeholders.
• Produce a final report of the research activity as a university thesis.
