Job summary

Leonardo is seeking a Master Thesis in the Structures Dept. The role supports the Helicopters division, coordinating research on helicopter structures and delivering a final report for a university thesis, under supervision of a Leonardo tutor.

Based at IT - Varese (Cascina Costa) or Brindisi, the internship offers a monthly allowance and requires a Master’s degree pursuit with strong knowledge in structural analysis and fatigue.

Qualifications

• Master's student in mechanical/aeronautical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of structural analysis and fatigue.
• Experience with MSC NASTRAN, HyperMesh or Patran is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, create and deliver research on helicopter structures.
• Collaborate with Design/Analysis/Certification & Qualification/Manufacturing teams.
• Produce a final report of the research activity as the university thesis.
