Job summary

Leonardo, a leading aerospace company, is seeking a Master Thesis in the Structures Department to support the Structural Analysis Team at Cascina Costa or Brindisi. You will coordinate, create and deliver research on helicopter structures with Design/Analysis/Certification & Qualification/Manufacturing teams.

The objective is to produce a comprehensive thesis report with tutor support, while working onsite in Italy and collaborating across geographies.

Qualifications

• Master degree ongoing in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Good university knowledge in structural failure criteria, fatigue analysis, dynamic analysis.
• Experience with MSC NASTRAN and Altair HyperMesh (Patran preferable).
• English and Italian language knowledge, both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, creation and delivery of study and research on helicopter structures with Design/Analysis/Certification & Qualification/Manufacturing teams.
• Final objective is to build a report of all the research activity as university thesis.
