DNV GL's Materials and Components Surveyor role in Lombardy, Italy, ensures certified naval materials and parts for builders, supporting class and non-class regimes and delivering safety-focused certification services.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, join project surveys for newbuilds in Italy and across Europe, and contribute from design to delivery while embracing digitalisation and travel up to 50%.

Competenze

• Minimum 5 years of Maritime industry experience.
• Very good written and spoken English; Italian fluency is a plus.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% within the country and occasionally within Area/Region.
• Availability to relocate based on business needs.
• Certification and verification of materials and components.
• Surveying of newbuilding projects.

Mansioni

• Certify and verify materials and components at manufacturers in Italy under applicable regimes
• Occasionally participate in DNV project surveys for newbuilds in Italy and Region Europe
• Manage clients in coordination with relevant parts of the organization
• Perform all activities safely, prioritising personal and team safety
