DNV in Italy seeks a Surveyor of materials and components to join the NB&CMC team, reporting to local Line Management. You will conduct certification and verification of materials and components at manufacturers in Italy, under class and non-class regimes, supporting projects from design to delivery.

Based in Vimercate, this role offers collaboration with a regional team, travel up to 50% within Italy, and opportunities to contribute to digitalisation and innovative services in maritime risk

Competenze

• Master's degree in Naval Architecture or Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Maritime industry.
• Very good written and spoken English; fluency in Italian will be a plus.
• Willingness to frequently travel (up to 50% of the time) within the country and occasionally within the Area/Region.
• Availability to relocate based on business needs.
• Valid driving license.

Mansioni

• Managing our clients together with other relevant parts of our organization.
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner with due regard to your own safety and the safety of others.
• Perform certification and verification of materials and components at the various Manufacturers in Italy, under class and non-class related regimes and associated processes.
• Be occasionally part of DNV team(s) surveying our newbuilding project(s) in the country and in Region Europe, at relevant project phases.
