DNV Maritime in Italy is seeking a Materials and Components Surveyor to perform certification and verification activities for NBCMC projects across Italian manufacturers. The role reports to local management and requires frequent travel within Italy and to Region Europe.

Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or related field, with at least 5 years in the maritime sector and strong English skills; Italian fluency is a plus.

Competenze

• Master’s degree in Naval Architecture or Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Maritime industry.
• Very good written and spoken English; fluency in Italian will be a plus.

Mansioni

• Managing our clients together with other relevant parts of our organization.
• Conduct all activities in a safe manner with due regard to your own safety and the safety of others.
• Perform certification and verification of materials and components at the various Manufacturers in Italy, under class and non-class related regimes and associated processes.
• Be occasionally part of DNV team(s) surveying our newbuilding project(s) in the country and in Region Europe, at relevant project phases.
