Job summary

LyondellBasell is seeking a Site Manager to lead the Gorla APS manufacturing site in Gorla Maggiore, Italy. The role focuses on directing production, on-site logistics, and safety to ensure compliant, cost-efficient operations.

Responsibilities include staffing, succession planning, industrial relations, and interactions with public authorities. Critical focus on GoalZERO safety, Lean manufacturing, and performance improvement within a multinational framework.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry/chemical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of fifteen (15) years of manufacturing experience.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of leadership experience.
• Good technical and commercial English and Italian language skills are essential.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP systems and Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Gorla site operations and manufacturing activities.
• Staffing and succession planning for the facility.
• Maintain industrial relations internally and with external entities.
• Represent the company to public administration and unions.
• Champion safety and Lean initiatives (APEX) and ensure regulatory compliance.
