Job summary

EssilorLuxottica Group is seeking an aspiring Manufacturing Engineering intern in Italy to support the industrialization and continuous improvement of post-injection molding processes. You will work closely with Production, Process Engineering, and cross-functional teams to develop efficient, ergonomic, and reliable technical solutions.

The role offers hands-on experience on machinery, data analysis, and documentation.

Qualifications

Pursuing or recently completed a degree in mechanical/automotive/engineering discipline related to manufacturing.
Interest in manufacturing, injection molding, automation and continuous improvement.
Strong analytical skills and proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
Fluent in Italian and English; ability to collaborate across teams.

Responsibilities

Support the industrialization of machinery, equipment, and new working methods from requirements to production.
Contribute to projects improving efficiency, ergonomics, quality, safety and reliability.
Participate in trials, testing, validation and start-up activities on the production floor.
Assist in analyzing process issues and identifying corrective actions.
Collect and analyze process data to monitor results of initiatives.
Help prepare technical specs, test reports, operating instructions and documentation.
