Job summary

EssilorLuxottica in Pederobba (Italy) invites motivated students to join the Manufacturing Engineering team as an internship. You will support industrialization, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration across Production, Process Engineering, and other teams.

The program provides hands-on experience, exposure to post‑injection molding processes, and opportunities to develop practical technical solutions within an international manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Management Engineering, Materials Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong interest in manufacturing processes and continuous improvement.
• Good analytical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel/PowerPoint).
• Good command of Italian and English.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness to work hands-on with production teams.

Responsibilities

• Support the industrialization of machinery, equipment, and new working methods from requirements to production implementation.
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving efficiency, ergonomics, quality, safety, and reliability of manufacturing processes.
• Participate in technical trials, testing, validation, and start-up activities on the production floor.
• Assist in analyzing process-related issues and identifying corrective actions.
• Collect and analyze data to monitor results of initiatives.
• Prepare technical specifications, test reports, and operating instructions.
