Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a motivated graduate to join the Digital Manufacturing Engineering team in Sedico (BL) as an internship. You will support the digitalization of production reporting systems, develop scheduling ideas, and help deploy MES solutions on the shop floor.

You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze manufacturing data, design software tools and dashboards, and contribute to continuous improvement in a dynamic, international eyewear company.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Management Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with IT focus.
• Knowledge of programming languages (Python, Java, HTML, SQL, PHP).
• Strong analytical and collaborative skills with shop-floor exposure.

Responsibilities

• Digitalization and optimization of production reporting systems and information flows.
• Improve efficiency in collecting, processing and distributing data for manufacturing.
• Design and develop scheduling algorithms to match production with capacity.
• Support deployment and adoption of MES across production areas.
• Analyze manufacturing data and identify opportunities for digital tool improvements.
• Collaborate with production teams to translate needs into digital solutions.
• Develop and maintain software tools, dashboards and apps for operations.
