Job summary

Lindt & Sprüngli is seeking a Head of Manufacturing for the Induno Olona site in Lombardy, Italy. You will lead manufacturing operations, ensure safety, quality and cost targets, and drive continuous improvement across production areas.

You will translate business priorities into actionable plans, manage the site budget, and collaborate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Supply Chain to secure reliable production and sustained performance.

Qualifications

• Degree in technical or scientific discipline.
• Significant experience in senior Manufacturing or Plant Operations roles.
• Proven TPM/Lean Manufacturing experience with measurable results.
• Strong ability to interpret KPIs and convert data into decisions.
• Strong planning, financial management and cost-control skills.
• Leadership style focused on development and high-performance teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective execution of production plan and address constraints.
• Deliver site objectives across safety, quality, service, volumes, productivity and cost.
• Drive performance via KPI framework with regular reporting and corrective actions.
• Champion TPM and Lean principles across production areas.
• Define accountabilities, resources, coordination mechanisms and controls.
• Lead and motivate management and operational teams close to the process.
• Develop and manage area budget and productivity initiatives.
• Collaborate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Supply Chain and HR.
