SAN SONNEA in the Dolomites seeks a warm, confident Maître d’Hôtel to lead our restaurant team. You will oversee breakfast through Fine Dining, act as a welcoming host for international guests, and uphold the highest hospitality standards.

You will shape the service concept, advise on wine pairings, train staff, and coordinate operations in close collaboration with the Executive Chef and General Management. A full-time role with long-term prospects and staff housing is offered.

Competenze

• Experience as Maître d’Hôtel or restaurant manager in upscale hospitality.
• Passion for hospitality and engaging with international guests.
• Fine Dining enthusiasm with wine pairing knowledge.
• Strong leadership, empathy and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication; independent, responsible and quality-focused.
• Fluent English; German or Italian an advantage.

To lead our restaurant team, we are looking for a warm, confident and service-oriented Maître (m/f/d) who combines exceptional hospitality skills, strong leadership and the highest quality standards to create an outstanding service experience for our guests.

YOUR TASKS:

• Overall responsibility for restaurant service – from breakfast and lunch to Fine Dining in the evening
• Act as a visible and welcoming host for our international guests, providing warm, personalised and professional service at the highest level
• Develop and continuously refine the service concept in line with our farm-to-table philosophy, open-fire cuisine and regionally inspired culinary approach
• Provide expert advice on menu choices, wine pairings and individual guest preferences
• Lead, train and develop the service team while fostering an authentic culture of hospitality
• Organise and coordinate service operations, staff schedules and quality standards
• Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine, General Management and all relevant operational departments

YOUR PROFILE:

• Several years of experience as a Maître d’Hôtel, Restaurant Manager or in a comparable position within upscale hospitality or gastronomy
• A genuine passion for hospitality and personal interaction with discerning international guests
• Passion for Fine Dining and high-quality cuisine, combined with sound knowledge of wine consultation and menu pairings
• Strong leadership skills, empathy and excellent organisational abilities
• Confident and professional manner with excellent communication skills
• Independent and structured working style with a strong sense of responsibility and commitment to quality
• Very good command of English; German or Italian is an advantage
